The Hybrid collection stage the raw material even before the step of human hand work. Designed as a fractured marble block from the quarry, the artist uses a trompe l’oeil technique on this piece to divert material. In opposition to the massive-looking top Jean-Luc Le Mounier designed a bronze lace foot to accentuate the floating side of the fractured ebony top.
