Exceptional know-how

Jean-Luc Le Mounier's workshop has become a true laboratory of innovation and know-how

It produces exceptional pieces such as spectacular straw marquetry cabinets, engraved ebony consoles, enamel chest of drawers or bronze tables…

His team masters in-house a wide range of techniques and rare materials such as straw marquetry, precious wood veneers, bronze work and coloured stainless steel assemblies. Not to mention the sand, which Jean-Luc Le Mounier has been moulding for several years.

His workshop has perfected its experience over time thanks to the realisation of hundreds of projects. These have led the team to take on challenges using very specific techniques such as the assembly of shagreen skins, the covering of furniture interiors with leather, the inlaying of mother-of-pearl or gypsum (selenite), lacquer or marble.

The artist sets no limits. He does not forbid himself to seek other know-how in the best French workshops. He works with master enamellers from Limoges, great Italian marblers but also with young talents with unique know-how : embroiderers, upholsterers, ceramists.

Creator of exceptional art furniture

Each meeting is an opportunity to surprise lovers of exceptional pieces and to take them to places they never imagined.

In addition to a rare know-how that is unique to him, what makes Jean-Luc Le Mounier’s work so special is that he does not limit himself to the use of a single material or a single idea. Each unique creation is also an opportunity for the creator to tell a story and to share a part of himself. Jean-Luc Le Mounier creates his art furniture with passion and a real attachment to the tradition of French decorative arts and traditional cabinetmaking techniques. He pays attention to all the details that ensure the durability of each of his creations. He and his team of craftsmen devote hundreds of hours to the meticulous execution of finishes that are almost museum quality.
