Following an initial collection in white sand inspired by Miami, created in 2021, Jean-Luc Le Mounier has designed a new version of his cabinet as a tribute to his region, the Emerald Coast. The movements and hues of the Breton sea come to life through emerald-green straw marquetry patterns, evoking the shifting reflections of the water. The black sand, which adorns the furniture’s structure, echoes the dark granite of the coastline, while the two bronze handles—cast from ivy stems collected during a family walk—add an organic and personal touch to this creation. A dialogue between landscape, material, and memory, where Breton roots inspire a contemporary expression of art furniture.
