This second bench is also part of the Empreinte collection, designed around the theme of destruction and reconstruction. It features a single velvet seat and a tablet which, like the patinated bronze legs, has been made from planks of wood that have been broken up and then burnt, to create a strong decorative element. Jean-Luc Le Mounier’s desire to work the material down to the smallest detail led him to use a structured ecru fabric to highlight the black shades of the burnt wood.
