This suspended piece is an emblematic work of Jean-Luc Le Mounier both for its presence and its spectacular side. The cabinet is entirely covered with bronze and black straw marquetry. The decorative sun pattern of the curved wings brings a unique light catch to the straw. The wings give access to the cabinet doors opening on thin white bronze grids, reinterpreting the butterfly’s wing structure. The interior has two adjustable shelves and a box hanging from secret storage.
