After more than a year of renovation, the new 18, Place Vendôme ranks among the most opulent stores of all time: hammered bronze doors and drawers, light gold patchwork walls, Coromandel lacquered walls, Goossens crystal chandeliers, and in its center, “La Borne”, a three-metre-high bronze figurative sculpture by Johan Creten, in homage to the gigantic column standing outside in Place Vendôme. There are also gilded Louis XV desks, a “Hamada” coffee table in white bronze and raw black oak by Jean-Luc Le Mounier, a portrait of Mademoiselle Chanel in diamonds by the famous Brazilian artist VikMuniz, or a beautiful bronze armchair by Voukenas Petrides.
